Project Freight Education Necessary For Next Generation

We hear it more and more that in the Project Freight, or BreakBulk industry the number of people that have a wide expertise level of know how and experience is declining rapidly. This has to do with the fact that most of the people that were active in the industry from the early days will retire soon or have already reached the retirement age. So that those that have reached the age are however still working either as consultant or have their own company.

This means that if the decline is continuing there will not be many people with the required knowhow left in the near future.

This is one of the reasons that at iBrabble they took it upon themself to concentrate on this particular industry and bring the knowhow from those that have “been there, done that” and those that have reached a senior management positions to the industry. iBrabble says that they also look at trainers that have been both working for the Project Freight Forwarder side, as well as Carriers and or Shippers (freight or cargo owners) as an important source.

In the near future iBrabble shall introduce different courses, seminars and training programs, including on-line in the form of webinars and typical on line training programs, that are very hands-on and very focused on the project freight and heavy lift and bring a wide variety of subjects that matter.

One of their first programs is a 2 full day seminar regarding Project Freight Management, one of those subjects that covers a lot of ground and that is seen from the shipper and project forwarders point of view. A program that is fully in line with ISO 21500 and is on its way to be certified by global institutions.

You can still register for the program near you or at one of the BreakBulk organizations’ conferences in Shanghai, Antwerp, Houston, or in the UAE in 2016.
